Inspired by pin-ups, silver screen sirens and the bygone era of old Hollywood glamour, British luxury shoe and accessory brand Charlotte Olympia is collaborating with MAC on an unapologetically nostalgic collection of retro-glam colour. Coming Spring 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Charlotte Olympia and MAC Cosmetics are collaborating on a colour collection to be released March 2016.\u00a0Time to dust off your hot curlers, because from the sounds of it, it’ll inspire you to get all dolled up.<\/p>\n

According to WWD, the collection will be a “retro-glam” throwback \u2014 kind of like designer Charlotte Olympia Dellal herself. \u201cThe inspiration for the collection comes from my love of a bygone era that manifests itself in my day-to-day beauty look as well as featuring my design aesthetic,\u201d Dellal told WWD.<\/p>\n

The designer adds, \u201cI have always enjoyed the ritual of dressing up and wanted to unleash my inner movie star.\u201d So much so that it’s almost her signature \u2014 at a large majority of her public appearances, Dellal sports a near-trademark red lip and voluminous retro curls.<\/p>\n

The Charlotte Olympia x MAC collection promises to be “whimsy, color[ful] and fun,” just like the designer’s own lines, according to James Gager, senior vice president and group creative director of MAC Cosmetics. \u201cHer playful and stylish accessories are the ultimate inspiration for makeup,” he says.<\/p>\n

It’s not wrong to have high hopes \u2014 Dellal is a queen at releasing creative, unique collaborations with different brands across fashion and beauty. Her collaboration with jewelry designer Tom Binns was the perfect blend of edgy and fun, and her high heel collection with Agent Provocateur made everyone feel sexy and confident without even trying on a pair.<\/p>\n
