The Dalmore Luminary No.3 2025 edition single malt aged 17 years has been launched – created in collaboration with Scotland’s design museum, V&A Dundee and Ben Dobbin of Foster & Partners architects. Elegantly housed in a bespoke presentation case.<\/p>\n


\nThe Dalmore Master Whisky Makers, Gregg Glass and Richard Paterson OBE collaborated with Ben Dobbin of Foster + Partners architects to conceive this limited edition release of 20,000 bottles globally. Aged 17 Years, this single malt whisky is a celebration of our multi-cask maturation expertise.<\/p>\n

Whisky Making Artistry<\/strong><\/p>\n

From initial maturation in American White Oak ex-Bourbon barrels, Luminary No.3 has been finished in a bold combination of seven cask types, including both vintage and aged Calvados, rare Matusalem Sherry, rare Apostoles Sherry, select red wine casks from Bordeaux and Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape and fully matured American White Oak.<\/p>\n

The Aroma<\/strong>
\nVibrant orchard character leads on to Madagascan vanilla and cinnamon, with delicate rose water top notes<\/p>\n

The Palate<\/strong>
\nRich butterscotch. red apples, tarte tatin, dark cacao, re liquorice, and soft wood spices, elevated by notes of cardamom, Seville oranges, and green tea<\/p>\n

The Finish<\/strong>
\nDried apricots, ripe blackberries, fresh baked brioche, and soft lingering cassia bark<\/p>\n

The 2025 Edition of The Luminary Series is created by acclaimed architect Ben Dobbin, Senior Partner at Foster + Partners, in partnership with The Dalmore\u2019s award-winning Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass, and with the support and expertise of Master Distiller Richard Paterson OBE.<\/p>\n

This edition is limited to 20,000 bottles, and presented in special-edition packaging designed by Ben and his team at Foster + Partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n
