\nGigi Hadid\u2019s latest role sees the model stepping into Havaianas\u2019 creative helm for a new capsule collection. Earlier this year, Hadid signed on as the Brazilian flip-flop brand\u2019s global ambassador, and now she\u2019s parlayed that beachy passion into a hands-on collaboration as creative director of her own Havaianas line. The capsule\u2019s campaign is a retro dreamscape where vintage pin-up glamour is transported to a beach setting. Ever the self-proclaimed \u201cbeach kid,\u201d Hadid teased the partnership with bikini-clad, old-Hollywood-inspired images. \u201cMy 15-year-old self would be jumping up and down\u201d<\/em> about this project, the model said of getting to put her personal touch on such an iconic brand.<\/p>\n

The Gigi Hadid x Havaianas capsule celebrates the spirit of summer through four distinct flip-flop designs. Hadid was deeply involved in shaping each pair, reimagining Havaianas\u2019 classic Top and chic Slim Square silhouettes with her own flair. The flip-flops feature sunset-hued prints of ocean waves and dreamy skyscapes in soft orange, yellow, lilac, blue and green \u2013 a palette straight out of a vintage postcard. Hadid\u2019s signature also appears on every sole, and the packaging doubles down on the pin-up theme \u2013 each pair comes in a retro-illustrated box complete with beachy motifs, a custom hanger, and a collectible postcard.<\/p>\n
