Henkell Freixenet, the world’s leading sparkling wine company, has successfully launched a great promotion at Düsseldorf International Airport from June 1st till July 31st 2025 for its prestigious Henkell Sekt.

In these months Henkell Freixenet presents an impulse podium for Germany’s most exported Sekt brand as activation in the main shop at Terminal C1, providing a prominent platform to showcase the distinguished sparkling wines to a broad international audience.

This strategic placement sets new focus on Henkell sparkling wine and effectively highlights the key products for this activation: Henkell Trocken, Henkell Brut Vintage, and Henkell Rosé. Travellers will also find the Henkell Piccolo 3 pack and the travel retail exclusive 5 pack – available only at airports – on display, also celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, marking 90 years as an icon.

The podium’s design seamlessly integrates the visuals from the new Henkell campaign, presenting a sophisticated and inviting aesthetic that captures consumer attention. To maximize engagement and sales performance, a dedicated promoter will be present on-site throughout the activation period to engage with travellers, offering delightful tastings of these key products, and sharing insights to encourage purchases. This prominent activation at Düsseldorf Airport, combined with its compelling design and direct consumer interaction, is anticipated to significantly enhance Henkell’s brand visibility and sales performance.

“We are delighted to offer travelers the Henkell range in such a unique spot during the high frequented summertime. This privileged space within the airport allows Henkell to showcase its entire range of products available in the store and create an impact in front of travellers,” says Ramon Olive Head of Sales of GTR. “Activations like this, at key times such as holidays, provide consumers with a unique experience to complete this important and eagerly awaited time of the year. These activations help us create meaningful moments and make our brands universally known, desirable, and accessible!”
