This 17-year-old single malt, a travel-retail exclusive edition released in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Björn Frantzén, is sure to take you places. We’d describe it as rich, fruity and delightfully complex, with a pronounced influence of first-fill French Oak wine casks. But instead of prescribing our own tasting notes, we want to know: where will it take you?

Björn Frantzén

Meet Björn. Ex-professional footballer, restaurateur and the only chef in the world to hold three Michelin stars at three restaurants simultaneously. He was the first person to taste Between You and I: Journeys, and its complex layers of flavour sparked memories of his wide travels across the globe in search of culinary inspiration.

The craft

This expression is led by first-fill French oak casks seasoned with red wine which bring a distinctly jammy depth to the whisky. These are complemented by the smooth vanilla notes of American sherry-seasoned oak, all rounded out with refill casks. The results are rich, fruity and beautifully balanced.

A journey in flavour

From Orkney to Tahiti (and with a few stops in between) Between You and I: Journeys sent Björn’s palette around the world. Find out more about what the whisky evoked in him.

Enjoy it with…

Pairing Between You and I: Journeys is as personal as tasting it. When choosing what to pair it with simply think about complementing the flavours you’re discovering and enjoying. Tasting orange? Try something else citrussy. Thinking of open hearths and campfires? Look for food with smoky notes. The possibilities are truly endless—so we encourage you to have fun exploring and experimenting.
