Just in time for the opening of Terminal 3, Longchamp announces the launch of its second boutique at Frankfurt Airport, following a brief appearance at Hamburg\u2019s Alsterhaus. Having operated a successful boutique in Terminal 1B for five years, the French premium brand is expanding its presence at Germany\u2019s largest airport.<\/p>\n

The retail space in the central airside marketplace of the new Terminal 3 spans 73 square metres. Longchamp offers a wide selection of handbags, accessories, small leather goods, and sunglasses.<\/p>\n

The boutique has been created in line with Longchamp\u2019s new ‘RISE’ store concept, inspired by the aesthetics of a classic Parisian apartment.<\/p>\n

The store design aims to create a warm, inviting ambience while conveying Longchamp\u2019s core brand values- authenticity, integrity, energy, and optimism.<\/p>\n

Just as a home reflects the preferences, experiences, and personality of its inhabitants, the RISE design concept embodies the company\u2019s tradition and savoir-faire, together with its energy and optimism.<\/p>\n

A defining feature of the RISE concept is the nuanced design of distinct zones, each creating its own mood. An inviting ‘Welcome Table’ greets visitors at the entrance, while a lounge with two armchairs is designed to encourage visitors to linger.<\/p>\n

Longchamp was founded in 1948 and, originally specialising in leather cases for pipes, has developed into a label for travel accessories, handbags, ready-to-wear, eyewear, and shoes with international appeal. The house has been run by the Cassegrain family for four generations.<\/p>\n

Creative director Sophie Delafontaine continues to evolve the brand\u2019s heritage and DNA of French elegance with a modern twist. The style remains characterised by joie de vivre and appeals to a modern, cosmopolitan clientele.
