This May and June, leveraging KitKat\u2019s official partnership with Formula 1\u00ae, Nestl\u00e9 International Travel Retail\u00a0 NITR is collaborating with Avolta to deliver a dynamic retail activation at Barcelona Airport Duty Free.<\/p>\n

The activation brings the excitement of Formula 1\u00ae to life through an interactive simulator and a travel retail-exclusive KitKat\u00ae product range, designed to attract, engage, and convert shoppers in one of Europe\u2019s busiest airport hubs.<\/p>\n

Running from 30 April to 30 June, the two month-long activation combines an interactive Formula 1\u00ae racing simulator with a new KitKat product range inspired by the brand\u2019s global Formula 1\u00ae partnership. Strategically timed in the lead-up to the Formula 1 Barcelona Catalunya Grand Prix, the activation invites travellers to \u201cwarm up their engines\u201d and immerse themselves in the world of racing \u2013 right at the point of sale.<\/p>\n

The immersive installation invites travellers to step into the driver\u2019s seat and experience the intensity of Formula 1\u00ae racing, creating a high-impact moment designed to capture attention and encourage store entry.<\/p>\n

Alongside the experience, shoppers can explore and purchase the latest KitKat range, with selected products available exclusively in travel retail. Collectible KitKat Formula 1\u00ae racing car models are also offered as gift-with-purchase or as part of bundle promotions, adding further appeal for both brand and motorsport fans.<\/p>\n
