Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR), in partnership with Gebr. Heinemann and Unifree Duty Free, has launched a KitKat & Formula 1® activation at Istanbul Airport, bringing the excitement of the global partnership to one of the world’s busiest international airports.

Officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 3 July, attended by representatives from Nestlé International Travel Retail, Nestlé Türkiye, Gebr. Heinemann and Unifree Duty Free, the activation will run through to September, offering travellers an engaging brand experience inspired by the iconic Formula 1® partnership.

Located in a high-profile area of the airport, the activation combines interactive entertainment with product personalisation to encourage shopper engagement and drive conversion. At its heart is a Formula 1® racing simulator, inviting travellers to test their driving skills before enjoying a well-earned KitKat break.

Alongside the simulator, visitors can personalise their purchases of the collectible KitKat Car Tin with a bespoke engraving service, creating a memorable souvenir or gift that adds a unique premium touch to the shopping experience.
