Ian Macleod Distillers has unveiled a new full-strength flavour for its award-winning Edinburgh Gin brand, created exclusively for global leading travel retail and F&B player, Avolta and available initially in its UK World Duty Free stores.<\/p>\n


\nEdinburgh Gin Grapefruit & Mandarin (1L \/ 40% ABV) is distilled using fresh grapefruit and mandarin peels. Evocative of long summer days, it is vibrant and refreshing, with bright bursts of zesty pink grapefruit, perfectly balanced with the fruity sweetness of sun-kissed mandarin.<\/p>\n

Grapefruit & Mandarin is the fourth full-strength flavoured, Avolta-exclusive Edinburgh Gin and follows Key Lime & Ginger, Strawberry & Pink Pepper and Watermelon & Lime. The two signature serves are with tonic and a twist of grapefruit peel or mixed with grapefruit soda for the perfect sunset serve.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh Gin Head Distiller, David Wilkinson says: \u201cThe combination of fresh grapefruit and tangy mandarin makes this a vibrant and zesty gin. The addition of Timur pepper enhances the grapefruit aromas, as well as adding a spicy tingle to the aftertaste.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

This new expression has been created in the heart of Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile at The Arches, Edinburgh Gin\u2019s state-of-the-art distillery and visitor centre, recently voted Gin Distillery Experience of the Year at the Scottish Gin Awards 2025. It complements World Duty Free\u2019s existing range of full-strength gins: The Classic, Seaside, Cannonball and Rhubarb & Ginger, alongside the Elevated Editions gin liqueur range, launched in UK World Duty Free stores last October: Rhubarb & Ginger, Raspberry and Blood Orange & Ginger.<\/p>\n
