The Robert Mondavi California collection reflects the diversity and character of California’s renowned wine

regions. Sourced from acclaimed coastal vineyards, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are crafted

from Mendocino County fruit, where cool temperatures and gravelly soils create balance and complexity,

while the Pinot Noir draws on Monterey County’s coastal influence to deliver vibrant red fruit flavours and

refreshing acidity.

Yamil Sales, lead winemaker for the Robert Mondavi California collection, working alongside Kurtis

Ogasawara, Director of Winemaking at Robert Mondavi Winery, stated, “With this collection, we aim to offer

exceptional quality at an accessible price point, by drawing on the unique characteristics of California’s

diverse wine regions. The result is a fresh, complex range that reflects both the spirit of innovation and high

standards that are associated with the legacy of Robert Mondavi.”

Vadim Motlik, CEO at Lagardère Travel Retail UAE, commented “We are proud to partner with Robert

Mondavi on this landmark global travel retail launch and to be the exclusive travel retail partner for the

collection in Europe and the Middle East. The outstanding quality of the wines, together with the brand’s

heritage and reputation, makes this an exciting addition to our portfolio. As we continue to elevate the

traveller experience at Abu Dhabi Duty Free, the launch of the Robert Mondavi California reflects our

commitment to bringing exclusive, premium and world-class offerings to our customers.”

Carsten Nørland, Chief Commerical Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “As Zayed International Airport
