Dita Von Teese in the epitome of glamour as she stars in stunning pin-up style campaign for her MAC Cosmetics collaboration.<\/p>\n
Despite the name Dita Von Teese and vampy shades of red lipstick being essentially synonymous, the burlesque beauty is only now launching a collaboration with MAC Cosmetics.
\nThe 43-year-old raven-haired model is releasing a new vivid red shade of lipstick through the retailer exclusively online next month, inspired by the launch of her new book, Your Beauty Mark.
\nAlthough this is the first signature lipstick Dita has created for the brand, the two have previously worked together when Dita starred in the company’s legendary Viva Glam campaign in 2006 and 2007.<\/p>\n
The announcement will be welcome news to the many vintage-inspired women looking to emulate the designer and fashion icon.<\/p>\n
‘I\u2019ve always loved MAC and we\u2019ve remained close after working together almost 10 years ago for the MAC Viva Glam campaign,’ says Dita in an announcement about the new product.
\n‘MAC Cosmetics celebrates individuality and supports people who dare to be different,’ she adds. ‘I\u2019m grateful to have had the opportunity to create my signature red lipstick. My MAC Von Teese shade evokes glamour and confidence.’<\/p>\n
The lipstick, which comes in an appropriately daring blue-based shade of red and a matte finish, also bears her name across the product and her image graces the box.
