Drambuie is giving those with an eye for design, an aesthetically unique ‘Taste of the Extraordinary’ this year, by releasing its first limited edition bottle exclusively into global travel retail ahead of the Christmas period.

The beautiful shrink-wrapped bottle, available in 1 litre, is the first of its kind to appear on shelf in major airports around the world, with an exclusive release in the UK, Spain, Asia and Switzerland this October. Wrapped in the striking black and white zig-zag motif, the innovative design takes influence from Drambuie’s surreal marketing campaign, illustrating an infinite, moonlit, monochrome bottle with an amber liquor encased inside.

The Drambuie elixir combines a tasteful blend of the finest aged Scotch whisky, spices and heather honey, offering a truly incredible liqueur rich in color, aroma and taste. Served neat, over ice or within a tipple, the unique new bottle is ideal for cocktail and whisky lovers alike, and is a fitting spirit to offer during the key gifting season.

Drambuie will preview the limited edition Shrink Wrap this October at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, the showcase event for all new products heading into airport duty-free stores.

William Birkin, Regional Manager for Global Travel Retail, India, Middle East, Africa & Asia commented: “The ‘A Taste of the Extraordinary’ campaign was initially designed to take Drambuie in a bold new direction, introducing the spirit to a new generation of drinkers. The unveiling of this limited edition bottle in global travel retail will achieve this, as the distinctive new look will drive further awareness and attract a fresh audience to Drambuie”.
