Victoria Beckham Beauty has unveiled its first fragrance collection, which features three perfumes that are named for different places that played an important role in her life married to David Beckham.

Portofino ’97 Eau de Parfum

A new infatuation. A secret escape. The seductive scent of desire. Victoria Beckham evokes the enrapturing fragrance of burgeoning romance through the memory of Portofino ‘97: A euphoric hit of calabrian bergamot and black pepper; crisp white sheets suffused with incense and amber; patchouli and vetiver lingering on the skin of a significant other.

Portofino ’97 is the rush of a burgeoning romance: the adrenaline, the flirtation, the infatuation. It’s the thrill of a secret escape—an ode to the early rendezvous of Victoria and David to the Italian seaside—all bottled up. A tease of the fresh sea breeze is clouded with incense and amber, a lingering trace of patchouli, musk and vetiver punctuate the desire.

Each responsibly-crafted fragrance is bottled in a flacon inspired by a vintage parfum bottle Victoria collected while traveling. The blue enamel of the Portofino ’97 bottle is reminiscent of the blue waters of the Ligurian Sea.

“When David and I first met, we kept our relationship under wraps. This was when I was in the Spice Girls, when we were enormously successful all around the world, and David was playing for Manchester United. In 1997, we decided to take a trip to Portofino. I remember the light, I remember how the hotel smelled and how exciting that time was. I remember it all like it was yesterday.” xVB

Victoria Beckham conjures the sumptuous spirit of whirlwind weekends in Paris in the memory of Suite 302: An erotic mélange of black cherry and red peppercorn; dimmed hotel rooms clouded in rose centifolia, midnight violet and narcotic musk; plush velvets saturated with papyrus, black leather and masculine tobacco leaf.

Suite 302 embodies intoxicating glamour, a deep and confident love, wrapped up in the sumptuous memory of Victoria and David’s whirlwind anniversary trips to Paris. What adventure: the seduction swirls from dimmed hotel rooms clouded with bold florals and spicy peppercorn to intimate walks of the city’s winding streets at midnight, imbued with a trail of smoky masculine notes.

Each responsibly-crafted fragrance is bottled in a flacon inspired by a vintage parfum bottle Victoria collected while traveling. The white enamel of the Suite 302 bottle is reminiscent of the little white Roberto Cavalli dress Victoria wore for her surprise vow renewal with David.

San Ysidro Drive Eau de Parfum

Victoria Beckham captures the mending and motivating spirit of mindfulness in the memory of San Ysidro Drive: An intense rush of passion fruit and pink peony; vitalising ocean air infused with rich rose absolute, saffron flower and agarwood; black amber and vanilla incensing the atmosphere of a personal sanctuary.

Energy, opportunity, a renewed connection to nature: When Victoria moved her life—and her family—to Los Angeles in 2007, it marked the beginning of a transformative awakening. San Ysidro Drive captures the mindful and meditative memory of her time in California: heady florals mingled with the salty ocean air wafting through open windows on drives down the Pacific Coast Highway; the comfort of Black Amber and Vanilla lend a grounding feeling of home.

Each responsibly-crafted fragrance is bottled in a flacon inspired by a vintage parfum bottle Victoria collected while traveling. The yellow enamel of the San Ysidro Drive bottle is reminiscent of the Southern California sun.

“San Ysidro Drive signifies a time in my life that was full of new beginnings and self-discovery whilst living in California. It was revitalising, calming, peaceful.. and I think we captured that essence with this fragrance with an intense rush of passion fruit and pink peony, ocean air infused with rich rose absolute, saffron flower and agarwood, and black amber and vanilla.” xVB

Created in collaboration with the master parfumier Jérôme Épinette, the genderless artisinal fragrances are instinctively crafted to embody the essence of Victoria’s fashion and beauty brand.
