L’Oratoire des Papes is opening a pop-up at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport dedicated to its history and identity to mark its centenary.
Running from October 5, 2026, through January 4, 2027, the pop-up will showcase the world of L’Oratoire des Papes through its wines, terroirs and heritage, alongside special creations developed for this milestone anniversary.
An opening event will be held on Monday, October 5, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., featuring an exclusive tasting with François Miquel, Director of L’Oratoire des Papes, and Xavier Thuizat, Meilleur Sommelier de France 2022 and Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2023.
Taking the Centenary Beyond the Priory
With this three-month pop-up at Terminal 2AC, L’Oratoire des Papes takes its story beyond Châteauneuf-du-Pape, introducing it to an international audience. An exclusive and new way to celebrate the centenary and share what has shaped the brand’s identity since 1926.
At the pop-up, visitors will be able to taste di erent expressions of the estate’s terroirs and take a digital tour of the Priory cellars on a tablet, o ering a glimpse inside the historic setting where the wines are made and aged. An exclusive activity will also give visitors the opportunity to personalize an accessory, rounding out the experience.
Special creations developed for the L’Oratoire des Papes centenary will also be on display, including the 100th Anniversary collector’s set and two screen-printed centennial bottles: L’Oratoire des Papes white 2025 and L’Oratoire des Papes red 2024.
A Special Event with François Miquel and Xavier Thuizat will be held on October 5th
To mark the opening of the pop-up, François Miquel, Director of L’Oratoire des Papes, and Xavier Thuizat, Meilleur Sommelier de France 2022 and Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2023, will welcome visitors on Monday, October 5, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Xavier Thuizat will lead an exclusive tasting of L’Oratoire des Papes wines, sharing his perspective and drawing on his expertise and knowledge of the terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. A unique experience intended as a moment of exchange and knowledge sharing.
The limited edition 100th Anniversary collector’s set will also be unveiled. Created to mark the centenary, it brings together a bottle of L’Oratoire des Papes Red 2024, featuring the anniversary screen-printed design, and a numbered lithograph of the artwork created by C215, a French stencil artist and a leading figure on the global street art scene. During the opening event, François Miquel and Xavier Thuizat will sign a number of these lithographs, extending the dialogue between wine and art created to celebrate 100 years of L’Oratoire des Papes.
