Bottega Venta has launched a collection of hand-made, limited edition bags to celebrate the house’s 50th anniversary this year…

Heritage designs that have made the history of the house are reworked into contemporary pieces: from the most practical totes to elegant clutches that sparkle like jewels, each bag is a unique combination of distinctive style and traditional craftsmanship.

ARTFUL COMBINATIONS

The Umbria and City Knot are artfully constructed in new, contrasting textures and colours.

Engraved gold-tone metalware and hand-painted edges highlight their unique, compact shape.

Precious variations are crafted from exotic leathers in luxurious metallic or matte hues. Polished goatskin is embossed with a small butterfly motif – a charming Bottega Veneta signature.

Totes and shoulder bags feature sophisticated details such as double handles, adjustable straps and extra pockets.
With a sinuous shape that recalls the wings of a butterfly, inlaid motifs enhance the beauty of each particular style. The inlays are hand-stitched in leather or metal.
Evening bags become collector’s pieces. The Knot and Rialtina are embellished with tiny flowers in silver and gold, crafted by the house’s expert jewellers. Chain straps and buckles are statement details.
The palette ranges from classic to bright, with stylized flower bouquets, tactile weaving and hand-painted multicolor livery.
