Burberry has launched a new line of fragrances, Burberry Bespoke, which will be exclusively sold their boutiques. The collection is made up of seven editions titled High Tide, Tudor Rose, Amber Heath, Wild Thistle, Hawthorn Bloom, Antique Oak and Garden Roses.
A collection of seven individual fragrances which can truly be personalised to you. Inspired by artistry, the elements and the great British outdoors, each scent is available in either one, two or three varying concentrations, ensuring it feels completely unique to the wearer. Burberry Bespoke can only be purchased in store.
Burberry Bespoke has been created by renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey. An award-winning master of fragrance creation for over 20 years, Francis is one of the most highly regarded noses in the industry having developed some of the world’s best-loved and acclaimed scents, including the My Burberry collection.
High Tide is a fresh scent made of green marine notes with oakmoss absolute and fresh jasmine, capturing “the contrasts and scenery of the sea coast; rocks and blue water under the vigorous marine tide.”
Tudor Rose, announced as a shimmering rose scent, merges Bulgarian Damask rose and May rose with the base of patchouli and ambergris. It is announced as a symbolic union of roses; roses from Kensington garden that grow in “serenity and strength, verdure and vitality”.
Amber Heath is a modern oriental fragrance with a dominant note of amber, with additional accords of golden vanilla, patchouli and ambergris undertones. The scent is described as a romantic and atmospheric interpretation of the golden light of sunset over a courtyard in bloom.
Wild Thistle, a green-floral scent, is composed of green leaves, galbanum oil, flowers and geranium. It represents a spacious green area under the heat of the Scottish sunshine.
Hawthorn Bloom is announced as a fresh and delicate scent of iris and booming Yorkshire spring. It includes accords of orris root, violet, patchouli, musk and jasmine.
Antique Oak, inspired by the heritage of British shipyards, comprises accords of oud, leather, earthy and refined safflower and papyrus.
Garden Roses is a creation that blends fragrant Bulgarian rose with Italian lemon and vetiver. This represents a portrait of classic English roses set in a Bloomsbury garden.
Each Burberry Bespoke bottle can be personalised with the engraving of up to three monogrammed initials, and a choice of 16 leather ties for the neck of the bottle. The seven scents are each available in three concentrations.
