Byredo is arguably the coolest Scandi fragrance brand around and Freja Beha Erichsen the coolest Scandi model, so its a perfect match.

Erichsen has been selected by Byredo founder Ben Gorham as the face of the brand’s new fragrance, Rose of No Man’s Land, which has been created as a tribute to the nurses (often referred to by soldiers as “Rose of No-Man’s Land”), who saved lives on the front lines of World War One.

Byredo, loved for its minimalist packaging and unique fragrance blends, has played host to collaborators before – always carefully chosen by Gorham himself and purveyors of a similarly stylish aesthetic. Prior to Erichsen, the brand has worked in collaboration with artists and brands such as Oliver Peoples, photographers Inez & Vinoodh, the magazine Fantastic Man, hairstylist Christiaan Houtenbos and fashion brand Acne Studios.

Available now, exclusively at Byredo.com and at the new Byredo counter at London’s Liberty store, the scent is a love letter to the rose. Opening with pink peppercorn and Turkish rose petal top notes it has a heart of raspberry blossom and Turkish Rose Absolute and base notes of papyrus and white amber.

We are checking now with Byredo on the availability of this (and their other) fragrances in duty free stores.
