Chanel’s Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer, Lucia Pica was inspired by one of the founding elements of the House and created a limited-edition collection with a strong graphic contrast for the holidays.

The iconic gold chain, which first appeared on the 2.55 handbag designed by Mademoiselle in February 1955, freed women’s hands. Lucia Pica, Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer for CHANEL, has reinterpreted this symbol in a gold-infused colour palette filled with deep, rosy, copper or bronze shades, for a bold makeup look.

Glossy and sensational, the campaign stars Chanel model Vittoria Ceretti, who is seen in close-up shots for the campaign shoot. Created by Global Creative Designer for Makeup and Color Lucia Pica, the collection echoes the Chanel bag’s gold chain interwoven design with black leather as the colour palette for the makeup collection. Dripping in glamour, Vittoria shows off warm gold toned eye shades along with deep burgundy on the lips and also sports a gold nail polish and a vibrant blush. Pica “dreamed up a color palette filled with deep, warm, gold-infused shades and paints the portrait of a powerful, multi-dimensional woman,” states Chanel about the collection, and puts on the model a winged eyeliner to further take her Holiday look to the next level. Vittoria also sports Chanel jewelry made of pearls, leather and gold, and also stars in a short film for the glittering makeup collection.
