Charlotte Tilbury has opened its first standalone travel retail boutiques in Southeast Asia at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport as it expands its presence in the region.
The beauty brand’s first APAC travel retail standalone boutique opened in July at KLIA Terminal 1’s Satellite Building. The launch featured the ‘Unreal Summer Airport Takeover’, showcasing the brand’s Unreal skincare and makeup range through an airport activation.
The second boutique has opened at Suvarnabhumi Airport West in partnership with King Power.
The location features a Pillow Talk Beauty Bar, where travellers can receive 10-minute express beauty services, including skincare touch-ups, shade matching, and makeup applications.
The Suvarnabhumi boutique also marks the latest chapter of Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless franchise with the launch of its new Loose Powder.
“The opening of this standalone boutique brings that vision to life through an elevated retail concept,” Zainul Azman, managing director of Dimensi Eksklusif, said. “We are delighted to partner with Charlotte Tilbury on this exciting milestone and look forward to supporting the brand’s continued growth in travel retail.”
Antares Cheng, chief commercial officer of King Power Corporation, said the Suvarnabhumi boutique is located within the airport’s premium luxury retail zone, outside the traditional beauty environment. “The opening of this standalone beauty boutique at Suvarnabhumi Airport reflects both the strength of the brand and our commitment to continuously elevating the duty-free shopping experiences.”
