Illva Saronno has partnered with International Shoppes duty-free at JFK Terminal 1 to showcase the new limited edition Disaronno wears Roberto Cavalli bottle.

During the months of November and December, Illva Saronno has taken an impressive 10.2 m wide x 2.7m high wall-space to promote the world’s favourite Italian liqueur in its bold, vibrant and colourful animal print. Passengers are also able to view the bottle and taste the product before heading into the duty free store where they can go on to purchase.

Available across multiple duty-free outlets throughout the US since October, priced at around $30 for a litre, the stunning and unique design of Disaronno wears Roberto Cavalli is already proving to be as popular with consumers as the first two versions: Moschino and Versace.

Says Martin Howey, Global Travel Retail Director, Illva Saronno: “Initial response to the new bottle has been extremely good and activations such as at JFK T1 are excellent in bringing the new bottle to the attention of consumers.

“The Disaronno limited edition bottles are perfect for travel retail, offering passengers the chance to purchase a brand that is globally known and loved in a unique and beautiful presentation. While not exclusive to travel retail, its limited availability means that many passengers will not have seen the bottle elsewhere.”

Howey says that Illva Saronno’s partnership at JFK T1 with International Shoppes is testament to its travel retail commitment. “Investing in wall advertising and tasting activations such as this is critical to building awareness of Disaronno wears Roberto Cavalli. We’re very grateful to our retail partners for giving us this fantastic space during two key months in the US, covering both Thanksgiving and Christmas.”
