Jet-setting fashion lovers can take their pick of 18 new shops set to open at the UK’s London Stansted Airport.

Fashion brands Lacoste, Joules, East, Oasis (pictured above) and Superdry will launch in autumn along with Dune London, Sunglasses Boutique and Portuguese accessories brand, Parfois. Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, Mulberry, Swarovski and Accessorize will return to the departure lounge, which is in its third and final phase of a £80 million makeover.

Danish coffee and juice company, Joe and the Juice, Dutch retailer, Hema, which sells stationery, games, toys and homeware, will join the line-up along with gadget shop, Red 5, and ‘Best of the Best’ airport competitions company. For the first time, holiday-makers will be able to enjoy a beauty treatment at new Cloud Spa while they wait for their flight.

Andrew Harrison, managing director, said: “The £80million investment project to transform Stansted’s terminal and departure lounge is now in its third and final stage and I’m delighted to unveil the line-up of global and high street brands, returning favourites and exciting new concepts that have secured their positions and set to open for business later this autumn.

“I’m sure our frequent fliers will be especially pleased to learn that the end of this major transformation is now in sight and they can soon enjoy the full benefits of the re-development.”

In the first two phases of the regeneration, Stansted opened nine new shops including the largest walk-through World Duty Free, opened 12 new cafes, bars and restaurants and launched its new Escape Lounge.
