April sees the launch of limited edition summer fragrances from ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS; L’Eau d’Issey Summer Eau de toilette and L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Summer Eau de toilette, composed by Alberto Morillas of Firmenich.
For L’Eau d’Issey Summer Eau de toilette, the perfumer says he created a fruity floral fragrance with a cheerful and feminine feel, with tangy top notes of pink grapefruit and lychee, a heart combining passion fruit and guava, and base notes that combine subtle aquatic floral notes with the roundness of the woods and a vanilla infusion.
L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Summer Eau de toilette evokes the bursting freshness of kiwi alongside spicy and fruity notes. Its top notes of coriander and grapefruit set the tone with a slight bitterness, with pineapple and nutmeg in the middle accord, followed by wood and a vibrant duo of vetiver and cypress at its base.
The brand partnered with artist Yulia Brodskaya who designed the limited editions, adorning the bottles with coloured illustrations made entirely of paper.
