Jason Wu has launched his second signature fragrance – named Velvet Rose in tribute to his latest fashion creations.

Launching now, a new perfume from fashion designer Jason Wu. This is his second fragrance after the original Jason Wu scent was launched in 2017. The new fragrance was inspired by the designer’s most recent ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2019. Velvet Rouge, is described as ‘a novel composition dominated by rose, is accompanied by a collection of dresses in a crimson red colour and with motifs of this flower.’

Wu’s Velvet Rouge fragrance is the second story in his sequence of perfumes. The bottle remains in the same design as the first perfume, just in a darker, deeper colorway. Perfumer Frank Voelkl mixed together notes of incense, patchouli, golden amber and most importantly, rose centifolia. Pepper and lush green top notes make the fragrance even more complex.

Jason Wu unveils Velvet Rouge, a seductive new tribute to femininity. Balancing between sensual and rich ingredients that entice the senses, Velvet Rouge embraces the sultry side of the Jason Wu woman. The faceted depth of incense, patchouli and golden amber is balanced by the open vibrancy of rose centifolia and peony for an opulent and voluptuous fragrance.
