First came the classic Eau de Parfum, followed by the luminous Eau de Toilette. Now, Jil Sander introduces SIMPLY JIL SANDER ELIXIR. A contemporary reinterpretation of the original Eau de Partum, delivering a heightened sense of opulence, vibrancy and warmth.
SIMPLY JIL SANDER ELIXIR plays with the paradoxes that define the Jil Sander design philosophy. Streamlined, minimalist silhouettes are softened with lustrous fabrics and delicate detailing.
The Fragrance
Perfumer Christophe Raynaud of Firmenich has reinterpreted his original SIMPLY JIL SANDER composition, giving the characteristic notes of mandarin, violet and leather a sophisticated new twist.
At first, the rich radiance of blood mandarin is fused with a spicy mix of red ginger and red pepper for an initial freshness. This unfolds into an alluring floral heart where powdery violet, iris and rose gather into an enchanting bouquet enhanced by intense shades of cedar wood. Warm vanilla is wrapped in an enigmatic veil of patchouli, underscored with a suave leather accord to create a mesmerising signature that lingers.
The Design
The iconic SIMPLY JIL SANDER silhouette is recreated in high-impact red to reflect the vibrant spirit of ELIXIR. The cardinal red bottle is elevated with gold detailing and warm golden-coloured juice, evoking elegant extravagance. Yet the cylindrical flacon’s clean, architectural lines and balanced proportions remain true to the Jil Sander sense of restrained perfection.
