L’Oreal’s DermaCenter touches down at Paris CDG

L’Oréal Travel Retail has opened its first DermaCenter skincare counter at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.

CDG’s Terminal 2E-L has welcomed the world’s leading dermocosmetic brands, Vichy and La Roche-Posay with a 10sqm counter in the skincare area of the Lagardère Travel Retail ‘Buy Paris Duty-Free’ store.

L’Oreal says the DermaCenter with its high visibility from inside and outside the shop, an inviting design, and unique skincare services, will attract new clients to travel retail via this rapidly developing skincare category.

The Dermacenter counter offers the same design codes as those of a typical French pharmacy (including shelves, drawers, jars…) and projects an image of safety, efficacy and trust. At the entrance of the shop a trolley dressed in DermaCenter colours invites travellers in and offers a personalised skincare diagnostic and recommendations: A Healthy Skin Check-Up – this is an exclusive customer service provided through the use of the DermAnalyzer device and advice delivered by two DermoAdvisors or a certified Pharmacist. To support the opening, passengers will be offered free product samples after each skin diagnostic.
