LV Archlight Sneaker Collection unveils a new iconic shape to deliver the ‘most remarkable sneaker on the runway’ – now available in selected Louis Vuitton stores.
The statement look of Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show, this futuristic sneaker balances a springy wave-shaped outsole and an oversized tongue with a low cut ankle for a delicate, feminine touch.
“The Louis Vuitton Women’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection is all about anachronisms, a dialogue of wardrobes transcending Time. Might it be possible to awaken the clothes of long-gone eras and infuse them with the spirit of today?”
LV designer Nicolas Ghesquière set out to embrace the sneaker trend for his latest SS18 Show and paired sophisticated jackets and fairy tale dresses with vintage-to-futuristic sneakers.
Using a mix of technical fabrics, an oversize springy sole and a prominent tongue, the sporty designs come in pop colour versions or black-on-black tone: 18th Century French brocade and fine embroidery combines with 21st Century athleisure. An extrodinary blend of the dynamic yet casual modernity of clothes and accessories of today.
