Porky Pig and Petunia Pig are the stars of a limited edition collection created by Moschino to celebrate the Chinese New Year that will mark the arrival of the Year of the Pig.

Moschino presents the new limited edition created especially for the Chinese New Year 2019!

Following the same concept as Gucci (they teamed up with Disney’s Three Little Pigs – see post), Moschino, in collaboration with Warner Bros, has unveiled limited edition creations to mark the 2019 Chinese New Year on February 5. This will start the Year of the Pig, the twelfth protagonist of the Chinese horoscope.

Jeremy Scott, creative director of the Aeffe group’s maison, has chosen Porky Pig and Petunia Pig, iconic characters of the Looney Tunes cartoons to front the collection.

Those born under the sign of the pig are usually lovable, sometimes shy and honest, just like the two animated friends Porky and Petunia. Alone or in pairs and dressed in red, the traditional auspicious colour for New Year, the two pigs appear embroidered on the 8 items of the limited edition which includes clothing, accessories and an iPhone case.
