Lower East Side, a new blended Malt Whisky is set to debut in duty-free shops later this year.
The Three Stills Company are due to unveil Lower East Side to duty-free and travel retail trade buyers at the forthcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in May.
Described as a “new smooth accessible and versatile Scotch Whisky” which can be drunk neat, on the rocks or in cocktails – the brand is positioned to appeal to younger Asian travelling consumers.
Three Stills is managed by a team of industry veterans with 40 years experience in travel retail – and apart from this new brand they have great plans afoot with the imminent opening of their own distillery – The Borders Distillery in Hawick.
The Borders Distillery will be the first whisky distillery to be built in the Scottish Borders region for 180 years. Hawick is famous for its cashmere but will soon have another luxury product on its doorstep. The new distillery is expected to begin operations in August 2017.
Note: Travel Retail trade buyers – Tony Roberts and John Fordyce from Three Stills will be at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore this May. Contact them via email tony.roberts@thethreestillscompany.com or via The Decision Makers in Travel Retail
