L’Extase Rose Absolue is a new edition of the Nina Ricci L’Extase fragrance – set for launch in early 2017.
The original L’Extase launched in 2015 and was followed by an Eau de Parfum Legere version, L’Extase Caresse de Roses, in the summer of 2016 (see story). Now, perfumer Francis Kurkdjian has created a sensual dark edition of this already erotic perfume.
L’Extase Rose Absolue has a composition that works around a luxurious and Taif rose accord, spiced at the top with black and pink pepper, before being wrapped in a creamy woody nuance of Atlas cedar. Oriental musks mixed with vanilla, benzoin and patchouli form the base of the scent.
Model Laetitia Casta is again the face of the perfume for this new campaign. The packaging and bottle are darker than the previous editions, decorated with a golden cap and label as well as a silky black ribbon to add that sexy touch.
The fragrance is available as a 80 ml Eau de Parfum.
