Prada has announced the launch of a new member of its Les Infusions collection – this scent is dedicated to the summery Mimosa.
The collection Les Infusions de Prada offers refined fragrances of a distinctive character and centres on the main ingredient of each individual edition. Each of the scents from the collection reveal a different personality and brings a confidence through its subtle intensity.
The Infusions Collection was created in 2007 with the first and the most popular edition Infusion d’Iris. The fragrances were then launched as limited editions each year, until 2015, when Prada decided to bring back the entire collection and give it a permanent role in the brand’s portfolio. Perfumer Daniela (Roche) Andrier has been behind all the creations.
The new edition for 2016 comes out in the spring, dedicated to the sunny and tender mimosa blossom. Infusion de Mimosa consists of essences of anise and mandarin in the top notes, with the floral heart of mimosa and rose absolute resting on a subtle woody base.
Top notes: anise, mandarin
Heart: mimosa, rose
The vintage-style bottles of the collection are decorated with the fashion house’s classic emblem, designed by Mario Prada in 1913. Available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
