Stockholm Arlanda Airport strengthens its Scandinavian offering at the airport with the Swedish clothing brand Newhouse. The shop will opens its doors in the second quarter of 2025 and will offer Arlanda’s travellers timeless fashion with a modern twist at the Marketplace in Terminal 5.
Arlanda’s Marketplace, the airport’s largest ever commercial venture, continues to expand and develop. Since it opened in the autumn of 2023, several exciting new restaurants, cafés and shops have been added to the commercial offering, which is expected to be complete in the first half of 2025. Swedavia are now pleased to announce another new addition: The Swedish clothing brand Newhouse, which will open a 120 square meter shop in the Marketplace in Terminal 5 during the second quarter of 2025.
“In the new range of shopping options that is emerging at Stockholm Arlanda, we want to focus on inspiring experiences and memorable visits for both our Swedish and international travellers. Newhouse is an attractive clothing brand, and part of Swedavia’s strategy is to strengthen and promote Swedish and Scandinavian brands. We are therefore very happy that Newhouse has chosen to establish at Arlanda,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales, at Swedavia.
Newhouse offers timeless, carefully crafted Swedish fashion with a modern twist. The Borås based brand already has twelve shops around Sweden and some fifty retailers in the Nordic countries, including marketplaces such as Zalando, Boozt and Ellos.
“We are extremely happy and proud to open a shop, which will be the company’s thirteenth, at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The new shop will give us a valuable opportunity to reach a new, international customer base in a context that fits well with our brand position. We see this as a unique opportunity to showcase our brand with its timeless, tailored style to a larger audience in an inspiring environment,” says Antonia Buskas Häller, CEO of Newhouse.
