Billed as the “Gold Reward,” the kilo of gold promotion will celebrate the introduction of Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey – a Dubai Duty Free exclusive – within the Middle East, India and Africa region. Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey is the first permanent line extension to the Jack Daniel’s Family since Gentleman Jack in 1988.
Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold is a rich, exquisitely refined and distinctively finished expression of the original Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey. The name comes from being matured twice, first in a new white oak barrel and then again in a maple barrel which accounts for the whiskey’s warm and luxurious finish.

Commenting on the “Gold Reward” promotion for Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold, Tony McIver, area director for Brown-Forman Travel Retail, said “We are very excited about launching this special whiskey with Dubai Duty Free with a promotion that is very relevant and highly engaging.

To become eligible to win the kilo of gold, travellers passing through the Dubai International Airport during September need only purchase any member of the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands.
The kilo of gold will be on prominent display during September in the Dubai Duty Free store in Terminal Three of the Dubai International Airport. The drawing will take place in October 2014.
McIver added that in conjunction with the kilo promotion, special tastings of Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey will be held in Jack’s Bar & Grill in Concourse A of Dubai International Airport.
