On the 18th, 19th and 20th of December 2015, Dubai Duty Free customers at arrivals and departure stores at Dubai International and Al Maktoum International can join in the celebrations and enjoy a 25% discount on a wide range of merchandise. The offer is only open to passengers travelling through either of these airports on these specific days.
Last year anniversary recorded a total sales of Dhs188.86 million (US$51.74 million) when the operation extended the annual celebration beyond the one day due to the high passenger traffic expected over the pre-Christmas holiday weekend. The busiest day passenger-wise was Friday, 19th December when over 80,000 passengers used Dubai International Airport.
