Italian fashion house unveils a new women’s fragrance named after its famous line of clutch bags.

Three years after launching its original fragrance collection, Bottega Veneta (in collaboration with Coty) has unveiled a new fragrance named Knot. Unlike the first EDP created in chypre-leather style, this new fragrance is much airier and abounds in floral and sparkling notes.

Bottega Veneta says Knot is inspired by “the fresh air of the Italian coast, the scent of flowers and clean laundry whose scent comes through the open windows.” The fragrance is signed by the head perfumer of Givaudan, Daniela Andrier, and provides top notes with a bunch of citrus shades originating from clementine, mandarin, lime, neroli and orange blossom. The fresh and optimistic opening notes add up to floral heart notes, among which are peony, white rose and lavender, posing a contrast to the earthy base of musk and tonka.

Finished with a signature knot cap, inspired by the iconic Knot bag, the radiant golden elixir shimmers through the transparency of the glass, adding a touch of elegance to your dressing table.

In stores from Autumn 2014, Knot is available as a 30, 50 and 75ml Eau de Parfum, accompanied by body care products including body lotion, shower gel and body cream.
