The latest in a string of Hollywood-actor-fronted fragrance campaigns – think Brad Pitt for Chanel, Colin Farrell for Dolce & Gabbana and Robert Pattinson also for Dior – the new Sauvage campaign sees Depp moodily strumming on a guitar, escaping into the desert and “looking for something [I] cannot see,” to conjure up a sense of the bergamot-tinged fougère scent created by François Demachy for the brand.
