New Zealand duty-free retailer JR/Duty Free has launched an online shopping portal for MAC Cosmetics within its website jrdutyfree.co.nz. Reported to be a first in Oceania, the online MAC store will be available to international travellers departing from and arriving to Auckland International Airport.
Both departing and arriving passengers will be able to shop from over 1,000 MAC products, with savings of -20% compared to the New Zealand domestic market. Customers can collect on Departure or Arrival at Auckland Airport from February 2015.
JR/Duty Free Executive General Manager Steve Timms said the ability to now buy MAC online through JR/Duty Free offers convenience and value for customers.
“MAC has partnered with JR/Duty Free at Auckland Airport since 2010 and our popular MAC counter has the biggest range for a travel retail counter in the region. We’re really excited to bring an online component as an additional service for our customers. Not only will they have access to the full range of MAC products, the latest releases will also be available immediately through jrdutyfree.co.nz/mac,” he said.
