Beauty&You to celebrate 1st anniversary with Red Velvet show at Hong Kong International Airport

Beauty&You, the award-winning travel retail concept by The Shilla Duty Free, celebrates their first anniversary at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). After a very intensive first year of operations, the travel retail brand will bring a series of anniversary special offers, exciting pop-ups, and engaging retailtainment activities.

The highlight of the celebrations will take place on 30 July, when Beauty&You welcomes The Shilla Duty Free’s very own brand ambassador – the sensational all-female K-Pop group, Red Velvet – to perform an exclusive show for loyal fans and travellers at HKIA.

To celebrate their first milestone, Beauty&You is pleased to present an array of anniversary special offers and activities. Starting 28 June – Beauty&You’s birthday – the Curated Zones at the East Hall South and East Hall North stores will be transformed into three dedicated retailtainment areas: Live Make Up Shows, Perfume Playground and M.I.A: Men in Action.

Red Velvet x Beauty&You Anniversary Celebration (July 30)

Sensational all-female K-Pop group, Red Velvet – The Shilla Duty Free’s brand ambassadors – will power up HKIA with an exclusive performance on July 30. The five-piece girl band, also known as the “Summer Queens”, has been a trailblazing beauty icon for young female fans since their formation. Arriving in Hong Kong for the first time after their latest album release ‘The ReVe Festival’ Day 1, Red Velvet will set the stage with a spectacular live show for loyal K-Pop fans, adding to a line-up of events not-to-be-missed in honour of Beauty&You’s first anniversary at HKIA.

Live Make Up Shows (June 28 – August 11)

Beauty&You’s East Hall North store will feature five premium cosmetic brands through Live Make Up Shows, showcasing interactive demonstrations of the hottest summer trends. Featuring MAC, Make Up For Ever, Yves Saint Laurent, L’Oréal Paris and Estée Lauder, an array of products and travel makeup sets, the shows are set to offer the best recommendations for every look and free makeup consultation services. The shows also come with complimentary gifts and exclusive offers for customers.

Perfume Playground (June 28 – July 28)

Over at Beauty&You’s East Hall South store, the Curated Zone will turn into a Perfume Playground, introducing the newest, fresh summer scents by Diptyque and Chopard. Every Friday to Sunday, Diptyque’s fragrance expert will hold fragrance layering demonstrations to show how customers can freely compose their own unique scent by a combination and mix-and-match of eaux de toilette and fragrance gestures. One-on-one consultation will be offered by Chopard, who will showcase two new free-spirited, joyous scents from The Happy Chopard Eau de Parfum Collection, alongside four fragrances from the heavenly Gardens of Paradise. Document your fragrance journey and surprise your loved ones with the complimentary Happy Chopard postcard service. Adding to the experience, customers will be wowed with Hermès perfume’s playful magic performance before stepping foot in store.

M.I.A.: Men in Action (July 4 – August 14)

Beauty is not only a female concept. From July to August, Beauty&You’s East Hall North will transform into M.I.A.: Men in Action, an all-in-one station catered to male customers. A virtual reality corner with TAG Heuer – Gran Turismo Sport, the first VR game to be installed in travel retail – will put customer’s driving skills to test with a unique racing game that combines Gran Turismo’s state-of-the-art gaming system and TAG Heuer’s unparalleled Live Timing Technology. From late July onwards, Men’s Grooming Lifestyle, L’Oréal Travel Retail’s first-ever pop-up will feature its extensive men’s portfolio. Showcasing products by Biotherm Homme, Kiehl’s, L’Oréal Paris and House99, every man can find their own perfect fit. The pop-up is designed to feature different “male moments” in their lives with digital retailtainment engage with customers.

Beauty&You Anniversary Pop-Up (July 25 – August 21)

An all-immersive Beauty&You Anniversary Pop-Up will be installed, including specially developed Beauty&You DIY Mobile Sticker Photo Booth for personalised WhatsApp stickers with fun and chic animated features. Customers will be receiving the most popular beauty and fashion brands’ mini travel gifts and enjoying exclusive weekly offers at the Beauty Bar from Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Sulwhasoo, Marc Jacobs fragrances and Ray-Ban. At the Beauty Party Corner, customers can end their shopping journeys with sweet and scrumptious treats.

Anniversary Special Offers and Promotions (June 28 – August 15)

To thank customers for their continued support, customers with purchases of over HK$2,000 at Beauty&You stores will receive a specially designed Beauty&You Power Bank. Perfect for travellers, this power bank features a 3-in-1 built-in cable, and is exclusively available during the anniversary period.

Beauty&You has also partnered with HKIA to hold a First Anniversary Celebration online promotion on HKairportshop.com. From July 1 to 14, online purchases of Beauty&You products of over HK$1,000 will get an instant HK$200 discount. Furthermore, customers will receive a Red Velvet souvenir and skincare trial kit, along with a chance to win two VIP tickets to Red Velvet x Beauty&You Anniversary Celebration on July 30.
