Dior showcases new Winter codes through stylish portraits

Dior has unveiled images from its campaign for Fall-Winter 2020-2021 women’s ready-to-wear collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, inspired by Italian feminist art.

The house says “The striking, cliché-bending photographs reveal the power and complexity of body language and fashion: arranged in a mosaic, like a fresco, they question feminine plurality, women’s multiple roles and identities, the quest to push the limits, diversity and a singularity that goes beyond stereotypes.”

Captured through the lens of Paola Mattioli, the models incarnate this committed spirit through a series of spontaneous, captivating and poetic portraits that showcase the codes seen on the runway, from polka dots and checks to the reinvented Bar silhouette, mirroring the philosophy of the Creative Director of Dior women’s collections. Underscoring this assertive allure are velvet versions of the Dior Book Tote and Lady D-Lite bags as well as the new Dior Bobby and emblematic scarves. On t-shirts, the “I say I*” manifesto echoes the show’s scenography and radiates the power of the feminine.
