Doha unveils two new Armani boutiques

Qatar Duty Free has announced the official opening of its Giorgio Armani boutique at Hamad International Airport (HIA) making it the first Giorgio Armani boutique to be opened in any airport in the Middle East.

This launch follows closely behind the recent opening of Armani Junior in September at the airport, which has already proved popular with passengers enjoying the unique mix of global brands available within the 25,000 m2 of retail space at Hamad International Airport. This is the first Armani Junior boutique in the world to be opened in an airport environment.

“At Qatar Duty Free we are entirely focused on satisfying the needs of our passengers by hand picking brands that will go that extra mile and make the maximum effort to appeal to our travelling guests. Giorgio Armani and Armani Junior not only meet these expectations but surpass them on every level, as our guests will discover when they visit our new boutiques,” said Keith Hunter, Senior Vice President of Qatar Duty Free.

The Giorgio Armani boutique covers an area of over 190 m2 and is entirely dedicated to ready-to-wear collections and accessories for men and women. The boutique is characterised by a refined and intimate feel.

At Hamad International Airport, Qatar Duty Free offers 40,000 m2 of combined retail, food and beverage facilities, establishing the retailer as a premier shopping and dining destination. With more than 70 retail outlets offering an unprecedented selection of designer labels, fashion, electronics, gourmet foods and much more, Qatar Duty Free at Hamad International Airport caters to all passengers’ tastes. In addition, more than 30 cafes and restaurants offer a sumptuous selection of global and local cuisine.
