Having mastered and conquered the skincare game with intelligent and cult-status devices, Swedish beauty giant FOREO has now entered the IPL game with a new addition to the family, dubbed the ‘PEACH.’ Continuing on the theme of the ‘at-home spa’, the PEACH eliminates the need to visit salons for expensive IPL treatments, instead providing the same results in the comfort of your own home.
FOREO is seeking to prepare for the upcoming summer season, which is widely predicted to be the recovery season for the travel retail industry in Asia. With this in mind, Hyundai Duty-Free was the first to launch the PEACH in Korea, stocking a bulk quantity for the first batch. The hair removal market is continuously growing with an increase in demand for personal grooming products for frequent flyers. The PEACH manages to meet both criteria, boasting effectiveness, convenience, and user-friendliness.
“Retailers are reading the signs of recovery from consumers and gearing up for the summer season,” said Global Travel Retail Director, Gary Leong. “As FOREO set our strategy and action plan during the COVID-19 crisis earlier this year, there are more retail activations coming this summer to help boost the travel retail market bit by bit. We are banking on the PEACH to be the hottest device for summer 2020, and we have the numbers to back it up – PEACH is officially sold out at Hyundai Duty-Free as of 7th May, and we will be restocking soon.”
The COVID-19 outbreak has been particularly harsh on the travel retail industry, however, with the spreading of the virus slowing down, the industry is beginning to see some light at the end of a very dark tunnel, and FOREO looks forward to recovering positively in sales in the next upcoming months.
