Gucci takes a walk on the wild side with its spring-summer 2017 campaign. Shot in Rome, this is a truly crazy gathering with a cast featuring “a band of artists and colourful characters” as they hit the streets. Photographed by Glen Luchford, the models hang out with lions, tigers and a giraffe…
See campaign images below:
In addition to the campaign images, Luchford also directed the campaign film (see below). Set to the upbeat tunes of ‘Amore Disperato’ by Nada, the models enjoy a day frolicking through a fountain, hanging out with animals and eating burgers. Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele styled the shoot with art direction by Chris Simmonds.
Presenting the new campaign video for the Gucci Spring Summer 2017 collection. In this film, by Glen Luchford, a band of artists and colorful characters collide in the streets of Rome, feasting on hamburgers dressed in evening gowns, hanging out with tigers and lions and partying in a marble fountain. Inspired by generations of intellectuals and artists that considered Rome to be their home town, some by birth, others through cultural adoption.
