The launch marks the first regional presence of the brand’s new retail concept, which delivers a unique and exclusive storytelling experience, reflecting the heritage of Carolina Herrera.
The Herrera Confidential range launched in September 2023 at Mumbai Duty Free’s beauty area in the airport’s departure terminal. The collection showcases three luxurious franchises – The Gems Collection, Signature Collection and Eastern Treasures, each evoking opulence, elegance and sophistication.
Customers are invited to step into a world of confidence and experience the range and its bestsellers: True Oud, Sandal Ruby and Mystery Tobacco each offering something different and distinct to suit every scent preference.
New Retail Concept Arrives in the Region
The retail space at Mumbai Duty Free is the first in Travel Retail Asia Pacific to feature Carolina Herrera’s new retail concept. Drawing inspiration from iconic Herrera house The Hacienda La Vega, the counter’s eclectic design captivates travellers with its bold use of colour and texture to bring personality and life to the collection.
The counter features a specially commissioned printed wallpaper. Exclusively designed for Herrera Confidential, the wallpaper perfectly encapsulates the Herrera spirit with an illustration of the La Vega gardens, where all Confidential stories are born.
The luxury ingredient-led Herrera Confidential line is driven by the mother-daughter duo Carolina Herrera and Carolina Herrera de Baez. The private collection blends traditional with contemporary and features iconic scents of modern perfumery.
The collection is inspired by the Middle Eastern art of perfume layering; each of the precious fragrances, oils and elixirs in this opulent range can be mixed and matched to create a unique and highly individual fragrance. Carolina Herrera’s timeless elegance also inspires the scents, which are each housed in an exquisite glass bottle.
Herrera Confidential was originally created in 2016 for Middle Eastern customers but its expansion through Asia Pacific speaks to the growing demand for luxury scents. This latest travel retail launch underscores Puig’s strategic vision to transform the range from a regional player to a worldwide bestseller, reaching global customers looking for unique luxury fragrances.
