The new fragrant pair from the house of Loewe, Loewe 001 Woman and Loewe 001 Man, was launched in late August 2016. They are portrayed as “deep, tender and appealing” fragrances that “reinterpret the scent of a skin caress.”
“LOEWE is pleased to announce the launch of its first fragrance under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson with distinctive packaging featuring the artwork of Karl Blossfeldt.” The fragrance “represents the sensory expression of a character that’s both identifiable and novel. It interprets the notions of purity and the uncertain promise associated with the early hours following a first intimate encounter between two people, “the morning after.”
Loewe 001 Woman begins with bright, sparkling citrus notes of Italian bergamot, Calabria tangerine and pink pepper. Its modern heart features narcotic Egyptian jasmine mixed with the purity of linen and a sandalwood accord. It is defined as the floral, fresh and warm fragrance of “the morning after”. The exclusive amber molecule “Ambar 001” is accompanied by gourmand vanilla in the base.
It is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Loewe 001 Man opens with a clean and fresh mixture of Calabria bergamot, mandarin and cardamom. The intensive woody heart blends tart notes of cypress wood with sandalwood, cedar and vetiver, enriched with a cloud of ambrette seed and carrot seed. The base includes essences of violet, white musk and earthy Indonesian patchouli.
The fragrance is available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
The two complementary scents ‘Man’ and ‘Woman’ can be combined together to create a third.
