MIDLETON VERY RARE IRISH WHISKEY 2022 70cl

A balanced blend of rare and hand-selected single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys. Combination of whiskey aged between 12 and 33 years matured in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels.

Nose: Floral perfume, roasted coffee beans, salted caramel and honeycomb, nectarines, grated ginger and nutmeg spice.
Taste: Orchard fruits with a touch of lime zest and kiwi, vanilla, sweet coffee liqueur and cocoa powder, clove oil and nutmeg.
Finish: Lingering with the pot still spices and soft fruit.

MIDLETON VERY RARE PREMIUM IRISH WHISKEY 1973 70cl

Released in 2003 as a limited edition aged for 30 years in three types of barrels – bourbon barrels, sherry butts and port pipes.

Nose: Rich Iberian stone fruits topped with sweet heathered honey, lead to the spicier pot still notes and a touch of old leather.
Taste: The distinctive and unique character of Old Midleton Pot Still is unmistakeable in this venerable old Irish whiskey. Extremely oily with layers of spices, rich ripe fruit, heather honey and sweet butterscotch toffee. This evolves over time to reveal the rich tannins and wood spices that all come together to create this wonderfully full bodied and flavoursome whiskey.
Finish: The rich old Midleton pot still lingers rounded with the wood spices that seem to last forever.

BARRY CROCKETT LEGACY IRISH WHISKEY 70cl

Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy represents a selection of Pot Still Whiskeys which have been matured exclusively in American Bourbon barrels with a subtle contribution from a pot still distillate which has been matured in an unseasoned or virgin American barrel.

Nose: An elegant aroma of vanilla and toasted oak with a touch of lime, succulent green berries, pears and green sweet pepper aromas.
Taste: Light pepper carries onto fresh citrus, limes and mandarin orange sweetness. A hint of cinnamon with vanilla and oak reveals its years spent in American oak.
Finish: A full spectrum of flavours lasts well into the finish slowly fading to expose the clean American oak foundation.
