New British brand Ampfly have announced the launch of a new battery-free speaker in conjunction with MTV, hitting the duty free shelves soon with Dixons Travel named as their first stockist.
With the collaboration combining the best of British engineering and amazing entertainment, the new battery free speaker – fitted within an iPhone case – will be available from all Dixon Travel stores in airports from 19th August 2015.
Born out of a desire to allow everyone to enjoy their favourite songs as loud as possible and in great quality whether at home or abroad, Ampfly simply requires you to have charge on your phone, with no batteries, wires or cables necessary.
How does it work?
Delivering higher volume without the need for electronics means understanding how music moves through the air – and Ampfly uses physics to their (and your!) advantage, by modifying a tried and tested technique to suit modern technology. Providing deeper base, clear vocals and amazing audio quality, a specially designed acoustic horn is built into every Ampfly case, which allows more of your phone speaker’s energy to be transmitted, resulting in a much louder sound.
