Rituals helps travellers to ‘Slow Down’ with new store at Lisbon Airport

Rituals, the first brand in the world to combine body and home cosmetics, has opened a standalone store at Lisbon International Airport Terminal 1 Central Plaza.

The 33sq m airside store officially opened on 5th November and features 29sq m of sales space. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held earlier this week to celebrate the opening, which was attended by Rituals executives, including Travel Retail Director Neil Ebbutt, and Lisbon Airport officials.

Rituals’ best-selling collections are available at the store, providing multiple gifting options to travellers: Ritual of Sakura, Ritual of Ayurveda, Ritual of Dao, Ritual of Namasté, Ritual of Samurai, Ritual of Happy Buddha and Ritual of Karma. Also on offer is Rituals’ collection of Eau De Parfums – Oriental Essences – and travel-size products. A Home table presents the brand’s Private Collection candles and fragrance sticks as well as its regular candles and fragrance sticks.

Visitors to the shop are greeted by fully-trained Rituals sales staff before being invited to the brand’s iconic Water Island to enjoy a complimentary hand massage ritual which utilises luxurious Rituals products.

The Lisbon Airport store joins Rituals’ two other directly-owned shops, at London Stansted Airport and London Luton Airport.

Neil Ebbutt, Travel Retail Director for Rituals, commented: “The opening of our third directly-owned travel retail store is an important step in our European expansion, and the first in a string of standalone store openings coming soon in Europe travel retail. “Our new store offers the perfect environment to showcase Rituals’ ‘Slow Down’ philosophy and bring this to life through engagement and product education.”
