Chanel has officially confirmed that Timothée Chalamet is the new official face of the BLEU DE CHANEL fragrance.

Chalamet joins fellow Hollywood actor Brad Pitt as a fragrance ambassador for the French luxury house. Back in April, Chalamet was spotted filming a commercial for BLEU DE CHANEL in New York City.

In an Instagram post, Chalamet teased fans that an upcoming Chanel collaboration is imminent. The post featured the classic Chanel “CC” logo in black and white, accompanied by a cryptic caption that read, “CC X TC OTW.” No further details have been revealed, but fans are now speculating that a potential menswear line for the traditional French luxury womenswear house.

This is not the first time Chanel has partnered with a male ambassador for new collections. Back in 2010, Pharrell Williams caught the attention of the late Karl Lagerfeld, appearing in short fashion films for Chanel’s Paris-Salzburg Métiers d’Art 2015 collection to walking on runways and designing capsule collections. Pharrell helped create Chanel’s first unisex collection in 2019, elevating the brand with his playful streetwear aesthetic.
