Following the success of the Ballantine’s “Stay true to your blend” promotion in duty-free during 2016, the campaign is back at Korea’s Seoul Incheon International Airport.
As a part of brand’s “Stay True” ethos, Ballantine’s is encouraging consumers to discover their own distinct personalities and remain true to what makes them unique. The in-airport space featuring an interactive table will bring this concept of discovery to life, providing the opportunity for travellers to learn what’s unique about the Ballantine’s blends including nosing and tasting notes.

Along their Travel Trail journey, consumers will also be invited to visit a dedicated “Stay True” micro-site, www.staytruetoyourblend.com, to participate in a digital game to unveil what personality type they are, from the ‘adventurer’ to the ‘commander’ and beyond. Much like the more than 40 whiskies from across Scotland that come together in Ballantine’s exclusive blend, the game considers and celebrates the many unique traits that combine to form an individual’s personality. Having completed the digital game, consumers are awarded an e-voucher for a special gift of whisky stones redeemable in-store at Incheon International Airport.


The activation will run until the end of April 2017 and during this time, travellers who purchase Ballantine’s whisky to the value of $145 USD will also be offered a limited edition gift as well as be entered into a lucky draw to win a trip of a lifetime to Scotland for the 2017 Scottish Open and a truly Ballantine’s experience.
