With Paris Fashion Week in full flow last week with the looks for next winter on the catwalk, its easy to forget that the spring 2019 collections are only just arriving in boutiques. Luckily, Chanel has reminded us of the amazing handbags that first debuted last October at the previous PFW.

If you recall the theme of the Chanel show was ‘on the beach’ (complete with real beach, bare foot models, quiet lapping sea and bright blue skies) and the accessories were tuned to match. Beach bag purses, terry-towelling handbags and wicker baskets mixed in with the Chanel stalwarts such as the Boy Bag, Gabrielle, plus quilted and tweed numbers.
