The new Istanbul Airport continues its push to become the world’s finest airport for shopping with addition of a boutique for luxury label Bottega Veneta.
Latest addition to Bosphorus Zone: Bottega Veneta
Bottega Veneta is the latest addition to Luxury Hill in the Bosphorus Zone. The store creates a sense of openness and modernity. The façade is designed to enhance the motif of transparency through the boutique. The airy interior continues the theme of lightness with pale Marmorino walls together with floors of natural oak and ivory limestone. The environment is highlighted by sleek lighting coves that run along the ceiling and wall perimeters, washing the walls with light to enhance the artisanal variations of the wall textures and materials. These complement new display tables made from pale natural-hued oak and glass.
Bottega Veneta has set a new standard for luxury since its birth in Vicenza in 1966. Inspired by Italian culture with a global outlook, the house is defined by a distinctly refined attitude. Bottega Veneta uses noble materials to create considered pieces that become part of their owner’s lives. The house embraces a core philosophy of style, innovation and luxury, applied to a full offer for women, men and home.

The Zone 5 luxury marketplace combines luxury monobrand stores, food & beverage and seating areas together with a unique generic department store area. It demonstrates the wealth of expertise and knowledge in high-end luxury retailing and the ability to create exceptional fashion experiences constantly pushing the boundaries. Within Zone 5 customers are invited to experience monobrand stores of Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, Loro Piana, Gucci (opening mid of Oct 2019), Fendi, Prada, Saint Laurent (opening Sept 2019), Bottega Veneta and Hermès. All brands are present with their latest store design concepts and amazing facades. The prevailing materials of the design framework in this area are brass as well as white and cappuccino marble.
In the mid-marketplace area Gebr. Heinemann, Unifree Duty Free and ATÜ Duty Free created a unique see through design concept which gives brand manufacturers the opportunity to showcase the lifestyle of their brands that passengers can enjoy in a special shopping ambience. Brands in this area include Givenchy, Chloé, Alexander Mc Queen, Burberry, Loewe, Off White, Palm Angels, Alanui, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs and an exclusive offer of luxury sunglasses and Watches & Jewellery.
